The perfect pillow

Perhaps you have not stopped to think about whether the pillow you use is the most suitable for you, unless you have cervical problems or neck pain, then it may be. :-)

The fact is that a pillow that is right for you can have a great impact on the quality of your sleep and therefore on your health and well-being.

We all have different ways of sleeping and, therefore, depending on our particular styles, we will need to choose a pillow type.

Resting posture

On your back: If your usual posture is on your back, the best option for sleeping is a not very thick pillow that adapts to the natural curvature of the spine and that simply acts as a support for your head and neck.

Face down: To sleep in this position, the pillow must be soft, padded and that cushions the head and neck at a comfortable angle, so as to prevent sudden turns to the sides.

On your side: If you sleep on your side, the ideal would be a high, firm or very firm pillow that adapts to the contours of the head, neck and shoulders, helping to keep the body in a horizontal line.

However, for people who suffer from neck pain, a cervical pillow is recommended to reduce the pressure exerted on the area and keep the neck and head aligned with the spine during sleep.

You know, when you go to buy a pillow, or simply choose a certain one in a hotel (if they give you the option), you will know a little more.

Try and you will see the difference.
